"LOST v2" is a site-specific construct that captures moments
of graffiti and its impact on the city of Los Angeles. "LOST
v2" is a continuation of the concepts presented in "LOST
v1", held in June of 2001 at UCLA's Wight Gallery. through
an inter-disciplinary approach, encompassing elements ranging from
moving and captured images to objects and spray-paint on diverse
surfaces, "LOST v2" reflects a temporal document informed
by graffiti and sharing its ephemeral nature. "LOST v2"
is a spatial component of the LOST documentary project, an on-going
body of work which also includes the bi-annual publication "LOST
| Graffiti in the City of Angels".
Copies of current and previous issues of "LOST" will be
available at the opening, as well as other
capitalist objects of consumption, including prints, photographs,
and zines.
